Harry Potter is really as popular as ever and with new movies being released there’s hardly any chance that the popularity will fall off anytime soon. The Harry Potter Hogwarts lego set is based on the movie versions of the book. Hogwarts lego set will assist your kid in bringing the Hogwarts castle to life in your own home. Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle comes with a whopping 1290 pieces and it’s the biggest set as of now. This set will take several hours to put together but it’s well worth it.
The Hogwarts castle set features four buildings, which are all very different.
1. The Astronomy Tower
2. The Gryffindor Tower
3. The Great Hall
4. The Dumbledore’s Office
You’ll also get 11 characters total such as Harry and Hermoine, but you’ll additionally get characters that are unique to this set only. Nowhere else can you get Professors Snape, Flitwick and McGonagall, Argus Filch and his cat, Mrs. Norris, Lord Voldemort and Ablus Dumbledore.

The castle itself got some integrated areas designed to create intrigue. When you enter Gryffindor’s common room you can locate a fireplace with the face of Sirius Black appearing in the fire. By visiting Dumbledore’s office you can find Gryffindor’s sword, the Sorting Hat, a Basilisk Fang, plus a set of secret sliding stairs. And there is much more to explore. You will be surprised that everything inside the castle is fully detailed.
If you want to go all the way and don’t mind to spend close to $500 you can get a more sophisticated version of Hogwarts castle with some incredible features not found in the other set such as a mechanical clock tower with a pendulum that moves with the moving of the gate or the trap doors and staircases that move. But you may be perfectly happy with the smaller version which in fact is not so small at all.

I have recently bought this and when I opened the package I was amazed with the size of the toy! A Must have for a Harry Potter fan. Very detailed than the Hogwarts Castle of The OOTP castle. This has the library,dumbledore’s office, the great hall, room of requirement,common rooms, astronomy tower, owlery and more!! My Son was very pleased with it. Could have been better if Ron was included, But we already have a Ron from Hagrids Hut. As I said, Beautifully Crafted, Huge, and lots of minifigs! A must have Harry Potter Set!

Lego are famous for coming up with themed sets, and this Harry Potter Hogwarts lego model is bound to be popular since the release of the last ever Harry Potter movie earlier in the year. This is the perfect toy for kids who love Lego and want to create one of the most famous images from the movie and books.

Should You Buy the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Model For Your Child?
Because small Lego parts are involved, this isn’t suitable for children under the age of three. The manufacturer recommends it for children aged 7 to 14, but it’ll still be a fantastic gift for older kids who like their Lego and/ or the Harry Potter series.
The good thing about this set is that, although it looks fairly complex, it’s actually pretty easy to put together. It doesn’t take too long to build, and will provide hours of play as your kids recreate famous scenes from the movie to defend Hogwarts against followers of Lord Voldemort.
Although not the biggest offering in the Lego Harry Potter series, there are more than enough figures and pieces for children to play with. Hogwarts Lego is the perfect activity for building together, and kids have great fun coming up with new constructions once they’ve built the original model.
This is also a good gift if your child already owns the castle. This is only the bridge section, whereas the full castle is a far bigger and works well with this smaller kit. If your child is really into Harry Potter then there are a number of other Lego packs in the range, including the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley and the Lego Hogwarts Game.
There isn’t much more to say about this Lego kit except that it’s a high quality, affordable and well-made Lego set for your child. As long as they like Harry Potter, they’re almost guaranteed to like this new set from Lego.
